Every rental includes delivery, pickup, and disposal up to your included weight limit. Additional weight is $60 per ton, prorated. A fuel surcharge is added to every rental and varies by distance from our Ankeny location. Appliances are $60 each and mattresses are $20 each.
What Can and Cannot Go in the Dumpster
Most household and construction debris is fine to load. That includes drywall, lumber, flooring, shingles, siding, furniture, appliances (with surcharge), mattresses (with surcharge), yard waste, and general junk.
Items that are not allowed include wet paint, oil, adhesives, chemicals, batteries, tires, engines, dirt, sand, concrete (unless you rent our dedicated concrete dumpster), and anything flammable or explosive. Not sure about a specific item? Call us and we will let you know before you load it.

Do You Need a Permit for a Dumpster in Norwalk?
If the dumpster is going on your driveway or private property, no permit is needed. If it needs to be placed on a public street or right-of-way, the City of Norwalk requires a Right-of-Way Permit. There is a $75 fee, and the permit must be submitted at least five business days before the work is scheduled to begin.
