ANSWERING YOUR
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The dumpster rental process is actually pretty simple. The first step is to give us a call and let us know when and where you would like your dumpster delivered. The driver will then deliver the dumpster on the date that you requested. Once you have the dumpster you can fill it with debris and other items from your location, home or job site.
This is a very common question that we get. It is often hard to predict the exact size of dumpster that you will need, especially because small jobs can easily turn into larger jobs in the end. Here at Dumpster King, we recommend that you factor out all of the components and possibilities of your project. We offer four different sizes to fit different kinds of projects, small and large. All of our dumpsters are driveway safe. Head over to our dumpster sizing and pricing page to view dumpster measurements and options.
Are you still unsure what size is best for you? Give us a call and one of our representatives would be happy to discuss the best options for you.
All types of items can go inside of dumpsters. Roofing and construction companies use dumpsters for roofing shingles and other construction debris. Renting a dumpster for yard waste is very common in the spring and fall. Dumpster rentals for home renovations that require disposing of drywall, tile and other debris is also very frequent. Most household junk can also go inside of the dumpster.
Items that are not allowed in the dumpster include concrete, batteries, adhesives, oil, paint, tires, appliances, engines, dirt/sand and anything that might be flammable or explosive.
The cost to rent a dumpster depends on the size that you need and the length of your rental. Visit our sizing and pricing page to view all of our driveway safe dumpster rental options. Prices

Our standard rental period is 7 days, and weekend-only rentals are billed the same as a 7-day rental. If you finish early, you can request a weekday pickup before your rental period ends. We don’t offer Saturday or Sunday pickups. However, many customers find the 7-day rental provides plenty of flexibility for weekend work.
No. As long as we have clear placement instructions, you don’t need to be on site. Many customers mark the delivery spot with cones, chalk, or notes. Our drivers will safely position the dumpster and confirm delivery or pickup. You’ll know the job was done without having to adjust your schedule.
Construction dumpsters handle drywall, wood, flooring, roofing shingles, and similar debris. They’re not designed for hazardous materials like asbestos or chemicals. If you’re unsure whether an item is allowed, contact us before loading. The right dumpster keeps your job site organized and compliant.
