40-Yard Dumpster Rental Cost
Our 40-yard dumpster starts at $665 and includes delivery, pickup, disposal, a 7-day rental period, and up to 3 tons of weight. For high-volume projects, it is far more cost-effective than renting and swapping multiple smaller containers.
Every rental includes delivery, pickup, and disposal up to the included weight limit. Additional weight is $60 per ton, prorated. A fuel surcharge is added based on distance from our Ankeny shop, and we tell you the full price before you book. Appliances are $60 each and mattresses are $20 each. No hidden fees.
What Can and Cannot Go in the Dumpster
Most household and construction debris is fine: drywall, lumber, flooring, shingles, siding, furniture, appliances (with surcharge), mattresses (with surcharge), yard waste, and general junk.

Not allowed: wet paint, oil, adhesives, chemicals, batteries, tires, engines, dirt, sand, concrete (use our dedicated concrete dumpster instead), or anything flammable or explosive. Not sure about an item? Call us before you load it.
Is a 40-Yard the Right Size?
The 40-yard is sized for major projects. If you are doing a whole-home remodel rather than a full demolition, the 30-yard may be plenty.
