Every rental includes delivery, pickup, and disposal up to your included weight limit. If you go over, additional weight is billed at $60 per ton, prorated. A fuel surcharge is added to every rental and varies by your distance from our Ankeny location. Appliances run $60 each and mattresses run $20 each.
What Can and Cannot Go in the Dumpster
You can load most common household and construction debris into our dumpsters. That includes drywall, lumber, flooring, shingles, siding, furniture, appliances (with surcharge), mattresses (with surcharge), yard waste, and general junk.
Items that are not allowed include wet paint, oil, adhesives, chemicals, batteries, tires, engines, dirt, sand, concrete (unless you rent our dedicated concrete dumpster), and anything flammable or explosive. If you are unsure about a specific item, give us a call and we will let you know before you load it.

Do You Need a Permit for a Dumpster in Des Moines?

If the dumpster needs to go on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, the City of Des Moines requires a ROW Obstruction Permit.
